Emerald Coast Beer Festival 2015

The Emerald Coast Beer Festival (ECBF), a must-attend local beer festival, is almost here. The festival is hosted by Pensacola's local homebrew club, the Escambia Bay Homebrewers. The festival takes place at Seville Quarter, occupying the street in front of Seville, seven different rooms, and two courtyards.

The ECBF always attracts an impressive gathering of participating local, regional, and even national craft breweries and this year is no exception with over 30 breweries attending. You will find some local favorites returning such as Pensacola Bay Brewery, McGuire's, Grayton Beer, and Props Brewery. Along with some welcome new local breweries like Redneck Riviera Brewing Project (Pensacola), Idyll Hounds Brewing Company (Santa Rosa Beach), and Nivol Brewery (Panama City Beach). Make sure to drop by and show your support for our local breweries.

Some of the regional breweries we highly recommend checking out are:

* Crooked Letter Brewing Company - Ocean Springs, MS
Though not available in Pensacola yet, we would love to see this change soon. Check them out and we are sure you will agree.

* Biloxi Brewing Company - Biloxi, MS
A new addition to the ever growing, and very impressive, number of craft beer breweries located in Mississippi. Excited to see them attending ECBF already.

* Fairhope Brewing Company - Fairhope, AL
If you read many posts on PensacolaBeer, you already know we love this brewery. But, only recently did they start distributing in Pensacola.

The breweries attending this event alone would make this a exciting festival but what really makes it unique is the participation by homebrew clubs. These club guarantee you will be able to sample some unique offerings that you wouldn't have the chance to try if you weren't attending. Not to mention homebrew clubs are a great resource to find out more about craft beer and how you can become a homebrewer yourself. Check out the impressive list of homebrew club participants:

Escambia Bay Homebrewers Club (Pensacola, FL)
Emerald Coast Homebrew Organization (Lynn Haven, FL)
Homebrewers Underground (Mary Esther, FL)
LA Lagers (Mobile, AL)
Random Acts of Brewing (Mobile, AL)
